DIVEMASTER
Scuba divers look up to divemasters because they are leaders who mentor and motivate others. By guiding certified divers, you not only get to dive a lot, but also experience the joy of seeing others have as much fun when diving as you do. Not to mention, having the opportunity of assist on dive courses will grant you a broader understanding on how others feel about diving as well as what are the most commonly faced challenges students go through.
When trained by a small, hands-on dive operator like us you’ll be able to witness all aspects of our operation, get to know our lovely local staff, support our daily tasks and still have a close mentor in one of our instructors. And that’s not all! Expect to learn from our experienced dive staff more about fundamental aspects of the dive industry as:
Ocean conditions and how to plan dive trips considering them
The intricacies of working on the tourism industry
The challenges and rewards of being an employee of a dive operator in Timor-Leste
Niches within the dive industry
On top of that, Timor-Leste’s diverse diving areas will provide plenty of opportunities for divemasters in training to get to know reef life not seen in many other locations within the Coral Triangle. What a great chance it is to receive your first professional certification on a location so peculiar, unique and fantastic as Timor-Leste!
